Facebook ads.

You’ve heard everyone and their momma rave about how amazing they are and how much money you can really make using them.

And it’s no surprise.

Facebook ads are seriously the ish.

So why aren’t they working for YOUR business?

Because they are not the ”turn ’em on and make it rain” kind of strategy most marketers make them out to be.

And you know me, I’m gonna tell you like it is.

Facebook ads are freaking amazing BUT, like everything in business and life worth pursuing, it takes time, persistence and experimentation to make them work.

And trust me, I’ve been running campaigns since way before Facebook ads enabled news feed placements or fancy custom audiences.

That’s right. 

Back then we could only target based on interests, similar Facebook pages, and the only placement was a tiny square box on the right-hand column.

So after running $250,000 worth of Facebook ads campaigns for over 50 clients during the last 4 years, I’m going to spill the beans on what works and what doesn’t in this brand new blog series.

Let’s kick things off by talking about the BIGGEST mistakes I see online business owners make with Facebook ads and how to avoid them.

“Stop trying to run Faceboook ads like you would traditional media ads, yo!”

Big mistake.

Facebook ads are NOT traditional media.

In fact, they couldn’t be more different.

See, if you are are pushing product rather than promoting consumption, you are going to fail epically.

What should you do instead? Run ads to content and sell people on the back end.
