When you’re first starting to grow a blog (or thinking about launching one) it can feel so overwhelming to comb through the hundreds of tools available to online businesses these days.

And while having that many tools is a GREAT thing, it can be paralyzing.

So if you’re wondering which tools you should be using to launch, build and grow a profitable blog, you are going to love this post.

In fact, today I’m sharing with you the blogging tools I love and recommend.

And if you know anything about me, you know I am a total tool junkie.

So after testing dozens and dozens of tools, here are the blogging tools I love, recommend and use to run my own blog.

My favorite blogging tools ?

Keep in mind, I’m definitely not saying you have to use all of these tools to run a profitable blog.

These are just the ones I have used (or am currently using) and stand behind. 🙂

Blogging Platforms

WordPress: My all-time favorite content management system. It’s hands down the most complete, customizable and reliable blogging (and website) platform.

Squarespace: A great alternative if you REALLY don’t want to use WordPress.

ClickFunnels: While ClickFunnels’ main selling point is their funnel builder, this fancy tool will let you build a full blown website and blog.

Email Service Providers

Convertkit – My all-time favorite tool for beginner, intermediate and advanced bloggers and online business owners. It’s the tool I LOVE, use and endorse for all things email marketing. **Affiliate link: http://mbsy.co/ftCtT
ActiveCampaign – One of my all-time favorite email marketing tools for almost any type of entrepreneur who wants to build a powerful email list and custom funnels without the burden of pricey monthly fees.
GetResponse – A powerful tool with fantastic automations you can use to take your email marketing to the next level.

Page Builders

ThriveThemes: Thrive has an all around set of web marketing tools for WordPress sites. From content builders to popup boxes, Thrive has one of the best suite of tools on the market for a fraction of the cost.

OptimizePress: A simple, easy to use WordPress page builder for your squeeze, landing, sales and membership pages.

ClickFunnels: A fantastic, full-fledged funnel builder tool.

Popups & Lead Capture Tools

ThriveLeads: My go-to lead capture tool for WordPress. Their customizable templates, traffic & conversion reports, and segmentation capabilities are amazing.

PopupAlly: The ”polite popup” tool makes sure to not show pop-ups to existing subscribers and is fully customizable (only available for WordPress sites).

Optin Monster: A more versatile popup builder you can use on virtually any site.

Other Awesome Tools

CoSchedule: This dope app syncs with WordPress websites to create an awesome editorial calendar. Not only does it let you organize and set up drafts for blogs, it’s also a great social media publishing tool. It’s my go-to content calendar tool and you can see it in action here.   **Referral link

Click To Tweet: A fun WordPress plugin that makes your content tweetable right from the visual editor.

Monarch Social Sharing Plugin: My go-to social sharing plugin and the only social plugin that has increased my blog shares.

Caesium:  Compress your pictures up to 90% without visible quality loss. This one is a must in my blogging toolkit.

Canva: If you know me, you definitely know that I’m head-over-heels in love with this incredibly easy graphic design tool. Canva is simply amazing. You can create anything from gorgeous business cards to Facebook cover photos in just a few minutes.

SEO Yoast: Yoast SEO (formerly known as WordPress SEO by Yoast) is the most complete WordPress SEO plugin that exists today for WordPress.org users.

BONUS: Grammarly: By now, I’m sure you’ve noticed that English IS NOT my first language. So writing, speaking, and thinking in English is a daily challenge for this lady. That’s why I LOVE using Grammarly because this little app follows me around the web correcting all of my grammatical mistakes (if you see a typo anywhere, blame it on them, okay?).

But more importantly, it’s not a regular spell checker. Grammarly actually shows me how I can improve my writing with short grammatical suggestions that help me get better each day.  **Referral link
