Year-Round Productivity

Are you looking for ways to improve your productivity and achieve your goals?
If so, this episode is definitely for you because I’ll be revealing the tools that have totally transformed the way I work and keep me more inspired and productive than ever.
From task management tools to brainstorming apps, I’ll be sharing all of my favorite tools to make it easy for you to find exactly what you need to take your productivity to the next level.
So let’s dive right into it!
FULL FOCUS PLANNER
One of the things that I’ve been using for a really long time that you know about if you have been following me for any amount of time, is the Full Focus Planner.
Although it may not sound like a goal-setting tool, the Full Focus Planner is intended to assist you in keeping track of your goals and ensuring that you’re constantly moving closer to them. You can simply review your goals and allocate them to particular quarters with dedicated goal pages, helping you stay on track.
Without a system in place to keep track of your goals, you’ll lose track of your daily to-do’s and you’ll end up spending your time on urgent but not necessarily important tasks. And your big picture goals like setting up a funnel, improving your branding, or nailing your content creation, tend to get pushed to the back burner.
And so I love having the Full Focus Planner, it just lets you do that strategic process of remembering every single quarter and it helps you have a clear way to keep those goals front and center.
THE PROSPER PLAN
Achieving goals is an essential aspect of personal growth and business success. However, turning goals into actionable plans and staying consistent can be challenging. So the second tool that I want to recommend is The Prosper Plan.
I created The Prosper Plan since 2017, and we’ve been refining and perfecting this process, and every year, our members have seen real results. It’s not just a theoretical concept; it’s a living, breathing document that helps us turn our goals into a business plan and stay consistent.
And I’m not just recommending this because it’s my product – I also use The Prosper Plan myself, and it helps me stay accountable and consistent. And I truly believe it can make a big difference for anyone who uses it. It’s a tool that helped me and my clients turn our goals into a business plan and stay accountable throughout the year.
So you can access either the Workbook or the Full Course where I walk you through the entire process.
And even if you don’t use The Prosper Plan specifically, it’s important to have a goal-setting system that works for you. I make it a habit to write down my top three goals for the quarter every morning in my planner, and that helps me stay accountable and focused. So find a system that works for you and stick to it.
Remember, setting goals is just the first step. Turning them into an actionable plan and staying consistent is what really matters. With the right tools and mindset, you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
CLICKUP & TRELLO
Last year our team and our business grew a lot. And as we released more products, we needed a tool that was more flexible and allowed us to collaborate better as a team. That’s why we made an executive decision to switch from Trello to ClickUp.
But hey, don’t get me wrong. I still love Trello, and I still use Trello. We’ve developed some pretty amazing templates and products around Trello: (check out: Trello Business Suite).
And even if we haven’t, I will always recommend it for solo entrepreneurs in the early stages of building their businesses.
But for us, ClickUp was the perfect tool in the stage we’re in now in the business. I love the vision behind the tool and what it stands for. We’ve been testing it out for a year now and we’ve loved it.
But it’s not about the tool you use, it’s about your intentions and habits behind it. Having the ability to execute a project and having clarity on what projects to tackle next is crucial for success. As long as you have a good execution strategy and are hitting your goals, any tool can work for you.
So, whether you’re a solo entrepreneur or part of a team, find a tool that works for you and helps you execute your projects and goals. And I feel like ClickUp and Trello are up there for me.
CHANTY
We also tried a new tool called Chanty, it’s a Slack alternative.
And I have been really enjoying using Chanty. Nothing is wrong with Slack. I just wanted to try a different alternative tool for many reasons that I won’t get into in this episode.
So far, I have been thoroughly impressed with Chanty‘s ability to foster team collaboration. Although with Chanty there are still a few glitches in the tool since it is a newer tool, it has been an excellent experience, plus it’s completely free.
And it’s been phenomenal for team collaboration. So I highly recommend checking out Chanty.
ONENOTE OR GOODNOTE
As someone who loves taking notes on a physical paper, I have been exploring different ways to make the process more fun, engaging, and productive. And I have recently been enjoying note-taking on my tablet.
And though I still love my physical notebooks and will never give them up, I discovered OneNote, a Microsoft product that has been surprisingly impressive in terms of its features and performance.
OneNote has been my go-to tool for note-taking, which allows me to pull in digital assets and share notes with my team. GoodNotes is another excellent note-taking app that I love.
Again, I still use my physical notebooks for brainstorming. But whenever I want to collaborate and share a note with my team, bring in digital assets, pull links directly, and have images, and all that good stuff, it is just so much easier to do on a tablet.
So ultimately, finding a balance between digital and analog note-taking has helped me feel refreshed and motivated this new year.
OVER TO YOU
So those are my top goal-setting slash productivity tools at the moment.
Yes, I do use many more tools, but these are the basics. And these are the ones that have been the heavy lifters the last year or so, the ones that have been just tried and true for me that I absolutely love and recommend.
